"Four-door sports car holds its value better than any other vehicle in its class"

MISSISSAUGA, ON - February 10, 2016: Porsche received today from ALG a Canadian residual value award for its four-door sports car, the Panamera. The annual ALG Canadian Residual Value Awards honour the vehicles and brands that are forecast to retain the highest percentage of their Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) after three-year period for Premium brands.

"I am pleased to accept this award from ALG," said Alexander Pollich, President & CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. "Since its introduction in 2009, the Panamera has challenged what a premium four-door GT should be. Whether in normally aspirated, turbocharged, or plug-in hybrid version, we are honoured that it has been recognized as a standout offer in the marketplace."

"An unrivaled blend of performance, ride dynamics, and feature-rich luxury earn the 2016 Panamera an ALG Residual Value Award in the Premium Executive Car segment," said Geoff Helby, Canada Regional Director for ALG. "Porsche continues to cater to consumer desires and delivers a stylish, powerful package that holds long-term value."

ALG is an industry benchmark for projecting future vehicle values and depreciation data. Award winners are determined through careful study of the competition in each segment, historical vehicle performance and industry trends. Vehicle quality, production levels relative to demand, and pricing and marketing strategies represent key factors that impact ALG's residual value forecasts.
