KIRKLAND, WA - July 17, 2012: MediaSpigot announced that its automotive adventure and review series, Driving Sports will be making it’s broadcast premiere on The Auto Channel broadcast network, TACH-TV. The series will be headlining the coveted “Prime Time” slots of 8pm (EST) every Tuesday and Friday night, beginning July 17, 2012.

Driving Sports follows the adventures of three friends as they travel North America, testing the newest cars and trucks. The premiere episode features the trio driving a Mitsubishi Evolution, Audi S4 and Acura TL across the West Coast, with stops in Sonoma County, Lake Shasta, and a final shootout on the historic Maryhill Loops Road in Washington State.

“I’m thrilled, not only that TACH-TV picked up the series, but that they’ve also selected it to lead off Prime Time,” said Ryan Douthit, producer and creator of Driving Sports. “When we started making short videos for YouTube in 2006, the idea of producing a full season for broadcast television seemed like a far off dream. On Tuesday night at 8pm that dream finally becomes reality.”

“When I first saw the show, I was impressed by the chemistry between the hosts and just how good the show looked,” commented Marc J. Rauch, Executive Vice President of TACH-TV. “We think it will be a great lead into our Prime Time schedule.”
