ORLANDO, September 24, 2011: It only seems right that the Advanced Engineering Technology Conference (AETC) on "The Latest Advancements & Developments In Engine Performance Technology" will help power up this year’s Race Industry Week, Nov. 28-30 as one of two kick-off events to the week-long racing business extravaganza leading into this year’s PRI Trade Show.

The AETC, now in its 22nd year, offers race engine builders from around the country to listen, ask questions and interact with the icons of the industry. Among the presenting speakers this year includes Bill Hancock (founder of Arrow Race Engines), Chris Oborn (PAC Racing Springs), Jon Kaase (Kaase Racing Engines), Josh Stewart (Roush Yates Engines), Lake Speed, Jr. (Joe Gibbs Racing), Lance Ward (FAST), Rick Roberts (Edelbrock Corp.), Robert Prucka (CU-ICAR) and Steve Williams (K&N).

“This is a terrific opportunity for engine builders to have access to more information than they might discover in an entire season at the race track,” said Steve Lewis, PRI Trade Show producer. “The AETC is a terrific way to help kick off the busiest Race Industry Week yet.”

The AETC will join Claude Rouelle’s famed OptimumG Vehicle Dynamics & Data Acquisition seminar as the opening events for this year’s Race Industry Week. Overall, no less than six events will take place in conjunction with this year’s PRI Trade Show, which will run Dec. 1-3 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

“With the current tough economic times, it’s invaluable for the racing industry to be able to combine events like the AETC and Race Industry Week with the PRI Trade Show,” said Lewis. “It saves not only time and money in being able to find the entire racing industry in one exhibit hall at one time, but the insight and knowledge that is passed on also can save valuable development dollars at a time when everyone is striving to go faster, while maintaining budgets,” relayed Lewis.

The 24th Annual PRI Trade Show features the latest product lines of 1,100 manufacturers of racing and high-performance automotive components, as well as precision machining equipment. It will be attended by approximately 40,000 racing business people from all over the United States, and from 65 countries.
