JUPITER, April 10, 2011: The Heartbeat of America resonated throughout Palm Beach International Raceway as thousands of spectators attended Saturday’s Super Chevy Show presented by GM Performance Division and presented locally by Schumacher Chevrolet.

Palm Beach International Raceway transformed into a Chevy enthusiasts’ dream on Saturday as Chevy-powered and bodied classics, customs and new models filled the PBIR road course during the car show. Participants in the car show and event attendees also took to the north section of PBIR’s road course for the autocross event.

“We had a great racer and spectator turnout for Saturday’s Super Chevy Show at PBIR,” said Jason Rittenberry, President and CEO, Palm Beach International Raceway. “The Super Chevy Show exceeded our expectations for Saturday; you can feel the excitement in the PBIR stands and pits. The fan and racer response was tremendous. We are looking forward to planning an even more exciting and bigger Super Chevy Show in 2012 and beyond.”

Fans were on their feet for the special exhibition runs from the Driven2Win two-seat dragster, Chattanooga Choo-Choo and Cannonball Express jet cars, the Airborne Express wheelstander and Southern SlingShots Nostalgia Drags. While young racers built Revell Make ‘N Take 1969 Camaros in the activity tent.
