DAYTONA BEACH, Paul Miller Racing continues to prove that they have what it takes to win the Rolex 24 At Daytona, as the respected endurance racing team has brought the No. 48 Marquis Jet/TOTAL/IPC Porsche GT3 through the night unscathed and is currently running in second position with less than four hours remaining in the historic event at Daytona International Speedway. Live coverage on SPEED continues until the checkered flag at 3:30 p.m. ET/12:30 p.m. PT.

The driver lineup of Rob Bell, Bryce Miller, Bryan Sellers and Tim Sugden took the lead just after the six-hour mark and held it for the majority of the night, giving it up only after an extended pit stop during the night’s lengthy caution session.

“It’s been going really well, as you can see,” Sugden said. “We got caught out badly by the safety car deal when we were changing the brake pads, so we lost a couple of laps there which was unlucky, but the car is running really, really well.”

Sugden is currently running his last stint and the team plans on handing the controls over to Miller for the race’s final stint.

“There’s a very, very long way to go still, and I know that the lead car has got no clutch,” Sugden said. “When it’s out on the race track that’s not really a problem but every time they make a pit stop they have to push it out. Maybe something could go wrong there, so we’re pushing hard. It’s the closest chance we’ve had of a win, that’s for sure.”
