MARNE, August 4, 2010: On the heels of Patrick Sheltra’s ninth top-10 finish in last Saturday’s Weis Markets 125 at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway, officials from Sheltra Motorsports announced today that Holland, Michigan based Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant will return as a marketing partner for this Saturday’s Berlin ARCA 200 at the legendary Berlin (Mich.) Raceway.

Today’s announcement continues a three year relationship between the two corporations as Sheltra returns to Berlin (Mich.) Raceway looking for his 10th top-10 of the year and first top-10 since earning his very first ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards top-five finish of fourth in his inaugural season in 2007.

Sitting on the shores of Lake Macatawa and being downtown Holland’s only waterfront restaurant, Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant offers family friendly casual dining, waterfront views, indoor and outdoor dining, banquet facilities, catering services and a convenient full menu takeout.

Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant’s mission has always been about creating an atmosphere that reminds their patrons of simpler times, vacations on the lake and carefree summer days. Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant and their chefs buy the best ingredients, use time tested methods and expert craftsmanship, avoid shortcuts, trends and fads in preparing your meals. The focus is placed on preparing phenomenal food, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere inside and out.

“I cannot tell you what it means to us to have this awesome relationship continue with Boatwerks for this weekend,” said Sheltra, who enters the 12th race of the season fifth in the ARCA Racing Series championship point standings. There commitment and loyalty to this team at Berlin represents their willingness to promote our team and ARCA in their backyard. Hopefully, we can have a good night and take them to victory lane.”

Sheltra continued, “our short track program has been pretty stout this despite the hiccups we’ve faced. I like Berlin. It’s a neat racetrack and one that definitely keeps you on your toes. The track has some sentimental value to me when I finished fourth there in 2007. That was my first top-five, so at the time, it felt like a win. I have good vibes about this weekend, so I’m pretty ecstatic.”

Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant is located at 216 VanRaalte Avenue in Holland, Michigan. For information, please call 616.396.0600. The Sheltra Motorsports team will dine at the restaurant on Friday night before turning their attention to Saturday night’s contest.

Cost-effective marketing partnerships are still available for this weekend at Berlin (Mich.) Raceway and the remainder of the 2010 racing season. For additional information, please contact brandon@patricksheltra.com or marketing@patricksheltra.com.

Entering Berlin, Sheltra has 78 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards starts to his credit with one career victory at Salem (Ind.) Speedway (April 2009). During his ARCA tenure, Sheltra has accumulated 15 top-fives and posted 31 top-10 finishes. A third place qualifying effort at Rockingham (N.C.) Speedway (April 2009) and Michigan International Speedway (June 2010) is Sheltra’s best time trials effort to date. He has controlled the ARCA field six times for 148 laps.
