Want to Know What Chris Vermeulen is Driving This Week?
MELBOURNE – February 24, 2010: Aussie World Superbike rider Chris Vermeulen turned a few heads when he arrived at Phillip Island for pre-race testing prior to this weekend’s season opener of the 2010 Superbike World Championship.
While in Melbourne the former World Supersport Champion and MotoGP race-winner will be driving a 2010MY Chrysler 300C SRT8® which is powered by a 6.1-litre HEMI® V-8 engine producing 317 kW and 569 Nm of torque.
According to the motorcycle ace, it’s a little more relaxed but no less exciting than his 300km/h factory Kawasaki superbike.
“Getting around is a little more comfortable than normal with the 300C SRT8. The sound of the HEMI V-8 is just awesome,” said Chris Vermeulen.
For 2010, the Chrysler 300C SRT8 comes as standard with Remote Proximity Keyless Entry & Keyless Go. This allows the driver to open the door and start the car without needing to touch the key fob. Also now standard on all 300C V-8 models (5.7L and SRT8) is a Limited Slip Differential.
