Sixt AG to be Exclusive Partner of the Mille Miglia

PULLACH, Germany and BRESCIA, Italy, May 14, 2008 --

- From 15 - 18 May, 2008 Sixt will be promoting the world's most famous classic car race, the Mille Miglia, as its mobility and marketing partner.

From 2007 Sixt AG will once again be the exclusive mobility and marketing partner of the Mille Miglia, a race steeped in tradition. Germany's leading mobility services provider will be promoting the famous classic car rally with a comprehensive range of services. The rally, held in northern Italy, will be coordinated this year by a new organiser, MAC Events.

Sixt is offering all participants in the Mille Miglia exclusive special rates on rental cars both before and after the rally. This will enable car enthusiasts to enjoy a safe, comfortable and stress-free trip to and from the rally with a Sixt vehicle of their choice, and to experience the Italian landscape off the official route.

And participants won't have to do without their usual Sixt service during the Mille Miglia either; Sixt is offering a shuttle service to hotels and restaurants for these participants and is helping the classic car racing teams out by transporting vehicles and replacement parts. Additionally, Sixt is looking after Mille Miglia rally participants at all 37 checkpoints on the racing circuit and will be there for its customers with Sixt service counters in participating hotels.
