Hayes Lemmerz Earns Fiat's Qualitas Award

NORTHVILLE, Mich., -- Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. announced that its steel wheel manufacturing operation in Guarulhos, Brazil has been recently honored with the Fiat Group's Qualitas (Quality) Award.

Hayes Lemmerz received the Qualitas Award in the metals category, based upon its excellent performance in product development, delivery and quality to Fiat IVECO, the truck manufacturing division. Of more than 1,000 suppliers of the Fiat Group, only 60 were recognized with this award.

"We are honored to receive this award from Fiat, especially since it is a reflection of Hayes Lemmerz' continuous effort to make customer satisfaction our top priority," said Fred Bentley, Chief Operating Officer of Hayes Lemmerz.
