Eric McClure, driver of the No. 24 Hefty® Brand Chevrolet quotes:

On his expectations for this weekends Stater Bros. 300, after last weekend’s Camping World 300: “California will be a good gauge for where we are right now. We put this program together so late that we didn’t have the opportunity to test in Las Vegas. Therefore, we will get our first chance to work on our intermediate program. Hopefully, we can finish the event and have a good points day.”

On his past experience at California Speedway: “We really ran decent there when we tested the cup car a couple of years ago, then we made the Nationwide race for Jimmy Means the same year with a huge field of cars. Last year I was horrible there. So, I’ve gone from liking the place to hating it. Maybe I can tolerate it again until September.”
