LOS ANGELES - November 20, 2007: Mercedes-Benz presented a potpourri of exciting introductions during Media Days press conferences at the Los Angeles Auto Show: A very handsome S400 BlueTec hybrid diesel; the F700 concept; and the latest MB AMG vehicle, the C63.

The new Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG is the road-going sibling to the car currently competing in the German Touring Car Championships (DTM). Its AMG 6.3-liter V-8 engine develops a peak output of 451 horsepower and provides 0 to 60 mph acceleration of 4.5 seconds. Top speed is electronically limited to 155 mph. Performance features include speed-sensitive AMG sports steering and the new, 3-stage AMG sports suspension that combines smooth ride and race-car handling. Distinguishing features include special body styling and sports seats.
