DETROIT - August 26, 2007: The EFIJY, a concept car inspired by Australia’s FJ Holden, made its debut at the 13th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit on Aug. 18. During the one-day celebration, the EFIJY joined four of the vehicles featured in the movie “Transformers.” Like the movie’s stars, the EFIJY is a customized vehicle with luxury amenities including a drop-down touch control LCD screen and electric tombstone-style bucket seats. The two-door coupe also features a 480kW supercharged six-liter V8 engine.

The EFIJY was initially unveiled at the 2005 Australian International Motor Show in Sydney and has since won the 2007 North American Concept Car of the Year award. An estimated 1.5 million people attended the Woodward Dream Cruise, which featured more than 40,000 hot rods, muscle cars, custom, collector and special interest vehicles.
