Lebanon Valley Schedule Loaded With Action For ‘07

West Lebanon, NY: The 55th season is about to get underway at the famed
Valley of Speed, and the all important schedule of events is finally
unveiled.
As previously announced, the first time the cars will hit the speedway will
be with the first Warm-Up session scheduled for Saturday April 7th. The pit
gates will open at 1pm, with the track to be available from 3-6pm.
Spectators on the grandstand side are welcome to attend, free of charge.
In addition to the 55th Grand Season Opening, presented by L&M Motors,
Wentworth Construction, and Heavy Hauler, slated for Saturday April 14th,
there will also be a warm up session included for the Sportsman division.
Additional highlights on the 2007 schedule include: April 21st is the
Callanan Industries Opening night for the Sportsman division, May 19th is
set for the Waste management Little League night that includes Demo Derbies,
May 26th brings the return of the Benjamin Moore Paints 358 Super Series
premier, and of course the night that every family will have marked on their
calendars, June 16th is slated for the Key Bank Funplex Funpark Kiddie Ride
night.
This action packed schedule has some huge events slated to take on the High
Banks of Lebanon Valley. The first major event will be the PYX106 “Eye Rock
500” presented by Greylock Federal Credit union on June 9th. This special
night is a night of charity, as blind and partially blind drivers team with
sited drivers from the valley to race to race money for Camp Abilities, a
camp for blind, and blind/deaf children in the capitol district.
June 26th brings the return of the Eve of Destruction that includes School
Bus racing, demos, Stunts, and more. Then on June 30th, Berkshire Bank
brings the best Fireworks display to the Valley for a night of action on the
speedway, and in the sky.
The annual return of the USHRA Monster Truck Summer Nationals highlights the
month of July scheduled for the 16th through the 18th. Following the
Monster Trucks, Carquest will present the return of the World of Outlaws
Sprint Car Series on July 22nd. The Benjamin Moore Paints 358 Super Series
will also be on tap.
August will be highlighted by the Budweiser Lebanon Valley Speedway Party
Weekend set for August 10th and 11th. The party will include all classes in
action, with the highlight of a 100 lap Super DIRT Series Modified Tour Race
set to cap off the weekend on the 11th.
Finally, the Coor’s National 200 Weekend is set for September 7th and 8th.
This weekend event will include the famous 358 Series Race of Kings, and the
annual Coor’s National 200. The racing doesn’t end there. Scheduled for
September 15th is the 1st Annual Liberty National 60 Pro Stock $1500.00 win
event presented by Pepsi. Also included on the night will be a special CR
Concrete $1000.00 to win Sportsman feature.
The 25th Annual Swap meet makes up the November schedule, but that’s not
all, as for the first time at the Valley of Speed, the management has
approved the 1st Annual Turkey Bowl that will include the Pro Stocks, Pure
Stocks, 4 cylinders and an Enduro event set for November 24th.

gonna want to miss one!
