ROBERT MAYSON NAMED USAC/CRA PUBLICITY COORDINATOR

DECEMBER 27, 2005

Robert Mayson of Lakewood, Calif. has been named Publicity
Coordinator for USAC's CRA Sprint Car Series.

Mayson, a 41-year-old whose involvement in the sport of sprint
car racing spans most of his life, holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Communications/Public Relations from California State University in
Fullerton and has covered the sport for numerous publications, including
the Los Angeles Times, National Speed Sport News, Racing Wheels, Area Auto
Racing News and MotoRacing.

Between 1996 and 2004 Mayson served as the Director of Media
and Public Relations for the Sprint Car Racing Association and he has
attended sprint car races in California on a regular basis for the past
three decades.

"It's a tremendous privilege to be a small part of the USAC
team," he says. "When I consider the rich history and the names who have
competed under the USAC and CRA banners, I am humbled by this opportunity.
I look forward to assisting in efforts to expand the media coverage and
recognition for what I consider one of America's premier racing series. I
truly believe there isn't a more exciting form of racing on our planet and
this series features some of the finest talent and equipment you'll find
anywhere in the country on a weekly basis."

Mayson will work directly with USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series
Coordinator Chris Morgan, who is delighted to have Mayson's talents at his
disposal. "He has a sincere interest in and appreciation for this type of
racing and his media skills will be valuable assets as we continue to
elevate this series," said Morgan. "I'm pleased to welcome him to the USAC
team and we look forward to a long association. I would be remiss if I
didn't also thank Ken Wagner, our retiring 2005 publicity coordinator, for
his assistance during the past season and we wish him well in his future
endeavors."
