Mercedes' Sales Figures Hit Record High... Again

Posted by www.eMercedesBenz.com on October 03, 2005 at 11:27 PM CST

For the fourth consecutive month, Mercedes-Benz USA has once again
reported record sales figures, reporting its highest ever September
on record, with vehicle sales totalling 17,552. Due to our
unscientific research, we have to attribute the increase in sales to
the prodigious amount of publicity eMercedesBenz has generated for
the Mercedes-Benz brand, even surmising that the numbers reflected
lie solely on our shoulders.

It is, of course, with all humility that we bring you this fact; we
receive no compensatory or even verbal rewards for our hard work and
dedication to Mercedes-Benz.

But enough about us, on with the figures. In September, Mercedes
noted strong performance again with its M-class and SLK-Class models,
which noted increases of 21.3% and 40.7% (respectively) over last
year's sales figures. The C-Class also performed well, noting a 3.6%
increase over last September, with vehicle sales totalling 5,050 units.

As for their year-to-date sales, Mercedes still trails 2004 by 1,315
vehicles, but with the continued support of eMercedesBenz, along with
the introduction of the new R-Class and S-Class models, expect those
numbers to rise by the end of the year.
