WHAT: IRL teleconference GUESTS: Jay Drake, Patrick Carpentier, Scott Sharp and Danica Patrick ABOUT THE GUESTS: o Jay Drake, driver of the No. 20 Vision Racing Dallara/Infiniti/Firestone, is the 2004 champion of the USAC Valvoline Sprint Car Series. He is currently seventh in series point standings and matched his career-best finish with a third in the Cleanevent 100 on July 16. The Milwaukee 100 will be the final race in an 11 races in 11 days stretch for Drake, who is also competing in USAC "Indiana Sprint Week," and the USAC Silver Crown and Midget Series events at The Milwaukee Mile this week. o Patrick Carpentier, driver of the No. 83 Red Bull Cheever Racing Dallara/Toyota/Firestone, matched his career-best finish with a third in the Firestone Indy 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on July 16. Carpentier, a newcomer to the IndyCar Series this season, is 10th in the IndyCar Series point standings. o Scott Sharp, driver of the No. 8 Delphi Panoz/Honda/Firestone, will make his 100th consecutive start in the IndyCar Series if he starts the ABC Supply Co. A.J. Foyt 225 at Milwaukee on July 24. Sharp, the 1996 IndyCar Series co-champion, recorded his fourth top-five finish of the season with a fourth-place effort in the Firestone Indy 200 at Nashville Superspeedway on July 16. o Danica Patrick, driver of the No. 16 Rahal Letterman Racing Argent Pioneer Panoz/Honda/Firestone, finished fourth in the 89th Indianapolis 500 on May 29. It was the best finish for a woman in the 500 and matched her career-best finish in the IndyCar Series. Patrick, who claimed her first career pole position on July 2 at Kansas Speedway, currently leads the standings for the year-end Bombardier Rookie of the Year Award.
