Nissan North America Reports May 2004 Sales up 32.9 percent
GARDENA, Calif.--June 2, 2004--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported May total sales of 87,713 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 28.4 percent increase versus May of last year.Nissan Highlights
-- May sales for Nissan-brand vehicles were up 32.9 percent when compared to last May, with 76,570 units sold
-- Altima reported sales of 20,558 units, Titan full-size truck reported sales of 7,236 units, Murano reported sales of 5,004 units, Quest reported sales of 4,501 units and Armada full-size SUV reported sales of 3,074 units
-- Calendar year-to-date sales are up 30.9 percent with 342,227 units sold
Infiniti Highlights
-- Sales for Infiniti, the luxury division of NNA, increased 3.8 percent from last May, with 11,143 units sold
-- G35 sedan reported sales of 3,394 units, G35 Coupe reported sales of 2,732 units, FX reported sales of 2,398 units and the QX56 full-size SUV reported sales of 1,240 units
-- Calendar year-to-date sales are up 13.2 percent with 52,450 units sold

-- Calendar year-to-date sales are up 28.2 percent with 394,677 units sold
