All-New Lifestyle Support Vehicle Keeps Outdoor Enthusiasts Up-Close With the Action

RIVERSIDE, Calif., Dec. 3 -- Following the successful West Coast launch of its 2004 GearBOX LSV (Lifestyle Support Vehicle), Fleetwood RV, the world's leading recreational vehicle manufacturer, today announced the nationwide availability of the GearBOX beginning early next year. Fleetwood made the announcement to coincide with its appearance at the 41st Annual National RVIA tradeshow, taking place in Louisville, Kentucky, December 2-4, 2003.

The all-new 2004 GearBOX is a towable trailer with a fold-down ramp door that offers outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts the unique ability to safely haul their equipment-such as quads, dirt bikes, snowmobiles and other gear-to remote settings while enjoying the comfortable amenities of the RV lifestyle.

Loaded with standard features, its spacious and deluxe interior includes a full-width cargo area (with no wheel wells), a full-function galley, a queen-size sleeper and plenty of overhead storage. It also has a roomy bathroom and standup shower, and a dinette that converts into additional sleeping space. The optional entertainment system features a 19" TV and DVD player.

The 2004 GearBOX makes it easy to handle and maintain outdoor equipment by offering unique options including a refueling station (optional one or two tanks), an air compressor, and a hose with pressure nozzle for cleaning equipment before reloading. Its optional Onan(R) generator is quiet and powerful, with enough power to support standalone camping for days at a time.
